The FingerHDD is Biometric Access Controlled USB Hard Disk, which gives fingerprint access control to the content of the Harddisk for secure storage of your data and applications.

Designed as a portable device, it it just not a portable solution, but it give state of the art security to the data inside. It equipped with a live scan chip sensor, so that only enrolled fingerprint can access the data stored in FingerHDD. It also give X-wall hardware enryption so that even if somebody try to physically swap the drive and connect to other computer , the HDD is still secured.

It is truly plug-and-play on Operating Systems that support USB 1.1 or USB 2.0, like Windows ME, 2000, and XP.

Windows 98 requires a driver to be installed before the HardDisk can be used normally.

By default the drive is locked. To Identify the Finger, A dialog pops up and asks for the fingerprint. When recognizing the print all files show up in the file explorer dialog. All in all very easy to use
